According to the case file, on September 3, Hanh Thong Ward Police received a complaint from Ms. N.T.T.T, who reported being assaulted while visiting the clinic to raise a service-related grievance. Investigation revealed that during the discussion, a conflict broke out between the two sides.
During the incident, Chinh allegedly used an iron rod to threaten and physically attack the customer, seized her phone, and damaged her belongings, causing public disorder. Despite interventions from relatives and security staff, the violent behavior continued.
On September 10, based on collected evidence, investigators placed Chinh under criminal detention on charges of causing public disorder. The decision was approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Procuracy.
The case is now being investigated by the Criminal Police Division in coordination with Hanh Thong Ward Police.
Authorities stressed that the matter will be handled strictly in accordance with the law. They also advised citizens to resolve disputes involving civil, financial, or service-related issues through negotiation, mediation, or by filing complaints with competent authorities—never by resorting to violence.
Police further reminded medical and dental service providers, as well as other businesses, to comply with legal regulations and maintain professional, respectful conduct toward customers.
